My Scrimshaw

I will be teaching a class on Scrimshaw in April to an EGA Group in Charlottesville, VA!  I am really looking forward to it!  What's not to like about Charlottesville!  Home of the Virginia WaHoos!

After taking a scrimshaw class with Marcy Pumphret at Christmas in Williamsburg several years ago, I started doing my own scrimshaw.  It is loads of fun!

Unfortunately, I can't do too much of it because my hands won't let me and it interferes with my stitching time;)

Anywho......Here's a sampling....

We have snow in the forecast for this evening!  I'm thrilled...we haven't had any this winter!

Beautiful! Wish I could be there. I've always loved Marcy's work, and now yours!

Boy what lovely work. To bad there are so many neat crafts to do, but your right they all take time away from stitching!
