Mary Pierce Sampler in Progress

I am in the process of stitching up Essamplaire's Mary Pierce Sampler. I will be teaching a class on it for my guild in May. The original sampler hangs at Wilton House in Richmond's Windsor Farms area. I need to get cracking on this. I want it finished in April and be framed by my class in May! I better get to work!

A Year End Finish!

Well, I finally finished this Quaker a few days ago! It's M. A. Brown 1826 from Historic Stitches. It's done on a 32 count Lakeside Linen (I don't remember the color) using a combination of AVAS and NPS.

I will start the Prairie Schooler ABC project January st. In the meantime, I will try to continue my work on Essamplaire's Mary Pierce Sampler!

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! I did!

Prairie Schooler ABC Project

Well, I've emailed Vonna and she has accepted me on her blog for the Prairie Schooler ABC Project! Here is the website, if you are interested:

I have my charts, threads (DMC) and fabric...Now, all I need is some time to get started! I am going to make this project a year-long one...If I do a little more than 2 letters a month, I should complete my task!

Won't you join us?

Merry Christmas,

-Holly
