A Day Late and a Dollar Short

I didn't get to work on my Manifesto this past Sunday.  I had company in town and we were way too busy having fun!  By the time the dust settled, I was too tired to work on Manifesto.

So, I share with you my stitched Down Virginia Way piece created by Nan Lewis of Threadwork Primitives!

The stitching is done, but how I am going to finish it is in question...I was thinking about making it into a mattress pincushion.  The sides would be the stitched alphabet, my initials and date.  What do you think?  I may also tuft it...should I?

Happy Stitches Everyone,

-Holly

Your Down Virginia Way looks great! Did you use the called for fibers? I like the idea of a mattress pillow.

Beautiful! The tufted mattress pincushion sounds great! I like the idea of what you're going to put on the sides too.
